JJ Hanrahan stole the show as Emerging Ireland put Emerging Italy to the sword at the Tbilisi Cup. Hanrahan, who joins Northampton Saints in August could well be on Joe Schmidt’s radar for the next two seasons as he once again showed that he is too good to be ignored.
Assist #1

The Kerryman shows vision and nerve to even try the kick. Once it leaves his boot, we then see his skill and accuracy as it is absolutely perfectly judged and allows Conway to get on the scoreboard with a neat finish.
Assist #2

Hanrahan combines well with Eoin Griffin here. The man-of-the-match takes the ball out wide, drops his shoulder, takes out the defender and fires a pass to Griffin, who has nobody in front of him.
Assist #3

Perhaps the most impressive assist of all. Hanrahan breaks the first tackle, throws a dummy, shows his step and then turns on the jets as he finds himself in space. Ulster centre Stuart McCloskey is close in support. With just the fullback to beat, Hanrahan times the pass with perfection and Ireland score again.
