Aer Lingus, the official airline of the Irish rugby team is helping to bring the magic of #HomeAdvantage to Edinburgh this weekend with a special message delivered straight from the aircraft’s cockpit.
The captain on flight EI3254, which departed Dublin Airport at 14:25 today, had a special welcome for rugby fans onboard as the plane made its way to a cruising altitude over ‘The Fields of Athenry’ while they enjoyed views of the ‘small free birds flying’.
Aer Lingus also had a special surprise set up for the Irish rugby team themselves when they made their journey to the Scottish capital yesterday evening. As the players took their seats aboard Green Spirit they certainly weren’t expecting to each find a personalized CARA Magazine featuring their image on the front cover.
