We are now down to the final four in the Munster Schools Junior Cup following another thrilling round of action. The quarterfinals took place this week around the province as Munchin’s, CBC, Bandon and PBC all booked their place in the competition’s business end.
On Tuesday, St Munchin’s met St Clement’s on Thomond Park’s back pitch with the Corbally men coming out as convincing 60-6 winners,
The following day saw the three other games take place. In the early match at the UL, a Darragh French inspired PBC got the better of Crescent as the Cork school booked a spot in the semis with a 25-14 victory.
Castletroy were left equally disappointed as Bandon also travelled from Cork to secure a win at the University Of Limerick. That one finished Castletroy 15-17 Bandon.
Meanwhile at Clanwilliam, there was another home loss. Rockwell this time losing out to Cup favourites Christians to a scoreline of Rockwell 3-18 CBC.
