Donncha O’Callghan and Two Current Munster Players Added To Star-Studded Barbarians Squad To Take On Tonga In Thomond Park

We already knew the bruising Julian Savea was Thomond Park-bound, but a further bunch of international stars and local heroes have today been added to the Baabaas squad about to take on Tonga this Friday night.

Most notably, Munster and Ireland legend Donncha O’Callaghan will make his Thomond Park return as he teams up with current Munster front-rowers James Cronin and Brian Scott. The trio will be joined by the likes of former British and Irish Lion Geoff Parling, exciting Super Rugby stars Savea, Adriaan Strauss, Vince Aso, Taqele Naiyaravoro, Richard Buckman & Nick Stirzaker, and that’s before we even mention Jordi Murphy!

The Barbarians narrowly lost out to the All Blacks in a thoroughly enjoyable contest at Twickenham last weekend and hopefully these new additions can help the lads go one better and get the win this week.

It really should be a pulsating occasion.
