St Munchin’s College and PBC’s Junior Cup quarterfinal was abandoned after just ten minutes of play yesterday afternoon as Munchin’s refused to return to the field following three severe injuries to their player’s head areas – sparking suggestions that the fixture finished as a forfeit.
However, this will not be the case.

It has been announced that the match has been scheduled for next Wednesday, February 15th at Irish Independent Park at 2.30pm as Munster Rugby, Munchin’s and PBC have taken it upon them to put player welfare first and agree on a rematch.
