Rockwell Vs Castletroy

The Senior draws have not been kind to Castletroy this season. First a trip to reigning champions PBC in Cork and now another away outing, this time against City Cup holders Rockwell, is nothing short of a nightmare. Rockwell will perhaps count themselves as unlucky to have lost their opening game 10-8 at the hands of Glenstal but will be doubly determined to make amends this Tuesday afternoon as they return to their home turf.

St Munchin’s Vs Ardscoil
University Of Limerick. Wednesday, 2:30 KO
These two Limerick sides suffered disappointing losses on their travels to Cork in the first round as Ardscoil suffered defeat at the hands of heavyweights CBC last Wednesday before Bandon overcame Munchin’s a day later. Despite the well documented difference between the two teams, Ardscoil put in a proud performance on the day and will take comfort from their 24 hours to recover and prepare for the derby meeting in UL. For Munchin’s it’s a case of adding a degree of clinicatlity to the dominant forward play of a week ago, but whether that will be enough remains to be seen.
